PL52 2018 - Week 25 - Pocket Page and Layout - Tips and Tricks. I was so excited to hear that the "Daydreamer" Pocket Kit had elements from Becky Higgin's Project Life Sharp Edition collection. I knew I wanted to use it to scrap some photos of my husband, so I opted to choose my favourites from the week Father's Day landed in this year.
Now, sometimes, photos and words don't quite capture the whole story. I'm sure that many of you have charming videos you would love to add toyour scrapbooks. Why not? A few years ago, Becky Higgins posted a blog post about adding QR codes to your scrapbook pages (https://beckyhiggins.com/adding-qr-codes-to-your-scrapbook…/). It has since become a staple in my creative process. For instance, on my pocket page, I added a QR code of my son doing the floss - the new dance everyone is doing! I couldn't really capture it the way I wanted to with photos or words. So instead, I took a video of him flossing away. I then uploaded my video onto my unlisted YouTube channel, generated a QR code for it using the instructions found in the link above, printed it, and added it to my page. How do I see what's on that QR code, you may ask? With a QR Scanner app I downloaded on my phone, of course! Perfect!
