GENERAL

DO YOU OFFER ONE-TIME PURCHASES?

Of course we do! If you feel you are not ready for a monthly subscription or you are just shopping around, all our products and kits are available for one-time purchase provided that inventory is available.

If you try any of our monthly kits and love it so much that you want to become a subscriber before the end of that month, we will credit the difference between the one-time price and the monthly subscription price as store credit that you will be able to use in your next order.

We offer a flat rate shipping of $12.50 CAD (within CANADA*) on all orders equal or greater than $35 CAD (before taxes). If you live in Calgary or nearby we also offer free pick up of your order. Check our shipping policies for more information.

Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your order and ship it.  

* Flat rate shipping and FREE shipping within Canada excludes: Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Nunavik (QC), some parts of Quebec and Newfoundland & Labrador, where a shipping surcharge of $5 will apply. The shipping rate for purchases from $35.00 to $84.99 will be $17.50 CAD and on purchases of $85.00 or higher will be $5.00.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?

You can subscribe to any of our monthly kits at any moment between the first and last day of the month, and your first kit will ship in the following month. For example if you subscribed during March your first kit will be the April kit, and it will ship between the 5th and the 12th of April.

Subscribing is as easy as selecting the option to subscribe on any of our Monthly Kits, or just click SUBSCRIBE in our top menu and choose the kit you prefer.

    WHEN WILL MY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD BE BILLED?

    Your card will be billed immediately for all purchases including the first month of a kit subscription. 

    For subscriptions, your card will automatically be billed on the 1st of each month. For example, if you subscribe to the Scrapbook Monthly Kit on March 7th, you will be immediately charged for your first month subscription. Your first kit will be the April kit, which will ship between  the 5th and the 12th of April, and the next subscription will be billed on May 1st.

    If you are a subscriber and you buy add-ons, you will be billed immediately.  If you order your add-ons between the 1st and the 4th of the month you will get them with that month’s kit. If you order them between the 5th and the last day of the month we will ship it with your next monthly kit.


    WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MONTHLY KIT?

    We ship all our subscription kits between the 5th and the 12th of each month. Once your kit has been shipped you will receive a notification that your kit is on its way!

    If you live in the Calgary area and you chose to pick it up for free, we will send you an email notification that your kit is ready and you can pick it up.

     

    IF I SUBSCRIBE DO I NEED TO ORDER THE KIT EVERY MONTH?

    No, you don’t need to purchase the kit again, as once you have signed up for a subscription, your kit will be automatically delivered to you until you cancel.

    Even when a kit is sold out in the store, subscribers will still receive their kit.

     

    WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I COMPLETE MY INITIAL SUBSCRIPTION COMMITMENT? IS MY SUBSCRIPTION ONGOING? 

    All monthly kit subscriptions are ongoing, so you will continue to receive a monthly kit until you cancel your subscription.

    The initial commitment for all subscriptions is 3 months, once that period of time is over we will automatically renew your subscription to a month-to-month basis, but remember you can cancel at any time.

    To make any changes to your subscription just log in into your Manage Subscription page, you will see your order history and on the right side you will we able to access your Manage menu. When you click on the menu, you will see the list of subscriptions you currently have (i.e. Subscription#1).

    If you select the Manage option you will see the menu of options for you subscription and make any changes. 

     

    HOW CAN I MANAGE MY SUBSCRIPTION(S)?

    You can access your Manage Subscription page at any time, there are several links on our website that will take you directly to it. One is the ‘Log In’ link found at the very top right of our website, and another is the ‘Manage Subscription’ link located in the footer at the bottom left of the website.

    In order for you to manage or make any changes to your subscription(s) you need to have an account in our store, if you haven't done it, please create one using the following link 'Create Account'. When you create your account make sure you use the same email address that you used when you placed your order. 

    Once you have your account and you are logged in, you will see your order history and on the right side you will we able to access your Manage menu. When you click on the menu, you will see the list of subscriptions you currently have (i.e. Subscription#1).

    If you select the Manage option you will see the menu of options for you account, here you can change/update your credit card information, your shipping/billing address, see/change the details of your subscription and skip any future kits. Also here you will see the option to cancel your subscription, which can be done after your 3 month commitment period is over.

      

    HOW DO I ORDER ADD-ON ITEMS OR CURRENT/PAST KITS?

    Our subscribers can purchase add-on items or current/past kits on a first come first serve basis at any time. Once you log in to your account and you will see the current/past Scrapbook and Pocket Kits at the regular subscriber price, and the 10% discount applied to any of the available add-ons if you are a Monthly Kit Subscriber and a 15% discount applied if you are a Bundle Kit Subscriber, no need for discount codes!

    When you buy add-ons and/or kits between the 1st and the 4th of the month you will get them with that month’s kit. If you order them between the 5th and the last day of the month we will ship it with your next monthly kit.

    If you order after the 5th but you can’t wait for shipping with your next monthly kit, just send us and email and we will send you the shipping rates information so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and we will ship your add-ons and/or kits right away. 

    You need to be logged in to be able to see your discount applied and to get the free shipping on your add-ons. If you can't see your discount applied or you have any issues with your add-ons order please email us at orders@papersandbeyond.com and we will fix that right away.

    CAN I AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE ADD-ONS EACH MONTH?

    Absolutely! It will save you time and will guarantee you always get your favorite add-ons each month.

    Just email us to orders@papersandbeyond.com with “Monthly Add-On Request” on the subject line, tell us the type of add-on you want to get every month and we will process it for you each month, so you never miss out on your favorite add-ons!

     

    I AM A NEW SUBSCRIBER AND I WANT TO PURCHASE ADD-ONS AND/OR CURRENT/PAST KITS BUT I DON'T SEE MY DISCOUNT APPLIED?

    Thank you for becoming a subscriber and part of the Papers & Beyond family! We hope you enjoy your new subscription.

    You need to have an account in our store in order to unlock your subscriber benefits. So if you haven't done it, please create one in the following link 'Create Account'. When you create your account make sure you use the same email address that you used when you placed your order. 

    All subscriber benefits are attached to your account, once your monthly subscription has been processed, and you are logged in, you should be able to see your discounts applied. If you can not see your discounts please log out and try logging in again.

    If you are still experiencing problems with your subscriber benefits please send us an email to orders@papersandbeyond.com and we will get it fixed.

      

    DO I GET A KIT EVERY MONTH DO?

    We currently release a new collection for you every month except for summer time. The summer tends to slow down the scrapbooking collection releases as our suppliers get ready for the second half of the year. At Papers & Beyond we are committed to bring you the latest trends on the market and that is why we have only one kit for the months of June and July: our Summer June/July Kit! 

    As there is no new kit on the month of July you will be able to choose between skipping the month of July or substituting it with any of our other kits or add-ons. Don't worry we will send you a detailed email a couple of weeks in advance with all your possible options.

     

    I AM CURRENTLY A MONTHLY KIT SUBSCRIBER BUT I WANT TO GET THE BUNDLE KIT SUBSCRIPTION, HOW DO I DO IT?

    We are very happy to hear that you are loving your current subscription and we will gladly help you to swap to a Bundle Kit Subscription! Just send us an email to orders@papersandbeyond.com with “Swap Subscription” on the subject line with the details and we will make the swap on your current subscription.

    If you prefer to do it yourself, you can just add the Bundle Kit Subscription to your cart and buy it, and then you will need to cancel the individual kit subscription you had before.  Go to your Manage Subscription page and then select the individual subscription you need to cancel and click on 'Manage' and select Cancel Subscription.

    If you haven't reach your 3 monthly initial commitment period on the subscription you are cancelling, you won't be able to see the Cancel option on your subscription, so just send us and email and we will make the switch for you. 

    DO NOT buy the other individual subscription, as having both as individual items won't trigger the bundle price and benefits.

     

    CAN I SKIP A MONTH ON MY SUBSCRIPTION?

    Absolutely! We understand that sometimes things happen and you need to skip a month, or the next monthly collection is not your style, so we want for you to have the freedom to manage your subscriptions to fit your needs.

    We will send a sneak peek of our upcoming collection a few days before the end of the month so you can decide and manage your subscription as you wish.

    Just log in into your Manage Subscription page, click on the subscription you want to skip a month, you will see a list of all your upcoming monthly subscription orders and the date they will be billed. Choose the subscription you want to skip and click 'Skip Subscription' under Action. 

    Make sure you skip your subscription before the start of the month of the subscription you want to skip. For example, if you want to skip your kit on May, you need to skip your subscription in your account before April 30th.

    AFTER the 1st of the month, you  won't have the option of skipping your subscription for that month. You are not allowed to skip the same subscription two consecutive months in a row, however, there is no limit on the number of times you can skip a month’s kit within your subscription. 

    Skipping is handled on an individual subscription basis, so you can skip one of your subscriptions without skipping the others. You can also skip all at the same time, but you will need to do it individually.

    For Bundle Kit Subscribers if you choose to skip your subscription, as it is a bundle, you ca not skip just one kit, which means you will be skipping both kits in the bundle. 

     

    WHAT HAPPENS IF I FORGOT TO SKIP MY KIT BEFORE THE 1ST OF THE MONTH?

    Unfortunately if you don't skip your kit before the 1st of the month, you will receive that upcoming month’s kit. Returns and refunds cannot be issued for non skipped months.

     

    HOW DO I CANCEL A SUBSCRIPTION?

     You can cancel your subscription at any time. Just log in into your Manage Subscription page, select the subscription you want to cancel and click on 'Manage' and select Cancel Subscription.

    If you want to cancel your subscription before your initial 3 months commitment period, you won't be able to see the Cancel option on your subscription. You will need to send us an email to orders@papersandbeyond.com with “Cancel Order” on the subject line and we will take care of your cancellation. A one-time early cancellation fee of $12.00 will be applied. 

    If you have more than one subscription that you want to cancel, you need to cancel each one individually.

     

    SHIPPING AND RETURNS

    DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    Yes we do!

    All our orders are shipped through Canada Post to most countries. Your shipping option and rates will be displayed at check out depending on the dimensions and total weight of your order.

    Please note that for any orders being shipped outside Canada, any import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, VAT, tariff, handling fees or customs clearance charges due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. 

    If you are unable to complete the checkout for your country or have any questions about shipping quotes, please contact us.

     

    HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

    All our orders are shipped through Canada Post and we are constantly looking to give you the best available rates.  

    If you live in Calgary or nearby we also offer free pick up of your order.

    • CANADA: $9.95 CAD *
    • USA: $13.95 CAD

    ONE-TIME PURCHASES:

    We offer the following flat shipping rates on all orders equal or greater than $35 CAD (before taxes when applicable):

    • International: will be calculated at check out 

    We offer FREE shipping in Canada* on orders equal or greater than $85.00 CAD (before taxes when applicable) and FREE Shipping on USA orders equal or greater than $100.00 CAD.

    ** For one-time purchases, when your order is less than $35 CAD (before taxes when applicable), the shipping rate will be calculated at check out depending on destination, dimensions and total weight of the order.

     

    WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

    All of our sales are final and no returns are accepted. A complete list of all contents for kits and add-ons are included in each item description as well as a picture of each. Please review all items in detail before an order is placed, as all sales are final, including orders not yet shipped.

     

    WHAT DO I DO IF AN ITEM IS MISSING OR DAMAGED FROM MY ORDER?

    Although we pack your order with a lot of care, sometimes mistakes happen or items are damaged during shipping. We apologize in advance if this has happened to you.

    If you are missing an item please send us an email to orders@papersandbeyond.com within 7 days of receipt with “Missing/Damaged item” on the subject line and we will ship the product in your next month’s kit.

    If you received a damaged item please send us an email to orders@papersandbeyond.com within 7 days of receipt including a picture of the damaged item and the shipping box as well if possible with “Missing/Damaged item” on the subject line and we will ship the product in your next month’s kit.

     If the item is out of stock, a store credit or refund will be issued.

     

    MY ORDER NEVER ARRIVED, WHAT NOW?

    Domestic packages (orders within Canada) are deemed “lost” after 30 days from shipment date.

    USA packages are deemed “lost” after 45 days from shipment date.

    International packages are deemed “lost” after 75 days from shipment date.

    Please wait until that time to contact us. We will then replace your missing items if they are in stock. If one or more of your order items are out of stock, we will give you a refund or a store credit.
